PCGV505DC2 I have a Sony laptop. The label on the underside of the machine, but when you say PCG681L references to the Sony website cross, listed in the previous model #. In the last boot I have a KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR. "I have no idea what that means, but can not be good. I can understand the BIOS screen and change the home directory / drive that does not help, but because they are no obstacles arise, the system recovery discs, as it would have done -- duuuuh! FR operating system is Windows XP Home SP 3 surf the Internet up to "too much coffee and bloodshot eyes, and thought it would be a good source of information.
